Our Mission

Our mission is to enrich, connect, and empower the Glendale community and beyond by providing diverse programs and events, fostering intergenerational relationships, and creating inclusive spaces that celebrate our shared heritage and inspire a vibrant future.

Our Programs

We offer programs for all ages and backgrounds with a focus on community events, health & wellness, learning and education, fitness & recreation, youth programming, and private rentals.

Boy Scout Troop 417

HWB is the proud home of Boy Scout Troop 417. Participants have gone on to earn Eagle Scout badges for service to the Glendale community and beyond.

Glendale Youth Sports

Glendale Youth Sports offers seasonal programs in soccer, t-ball, baseball, and basketball. Go Glendale!

Community Library

Our community library hosts monthly “story time” for children, an adult book club, and special events throughout the year.

HWB offered a place where we felt like we belonged to Glendale. We attended a summer concert right after we moved in and made friends and connections that continue to this day.

My family and I moved to Glendale so we could raise our kids in a true village atmosphere, with neighbors who look out and care for one another. Glendale is a very special place and its heart is HWB.

HWB Community Center was our first place of connection when we moved to Glendale - the summer concert series provided a fun and safe environment for our kids to meet new friends and for my husband and I to get to know our neighbors!
