Summer Concerts on the Green
Summer concerts will be offered again this
summer on Saturday evenings on the beautiful
lawn of HWB 6-9 PM. Frame USA is sponsoring
this year's Summer Concerts on the Green.

Get Fit Glendale 5K Run and Walk
Winding through the streets of beautiful Glendale, this first-year fundraiser for HWB will be held
on July 31, 2010 at 9 am. A 5K Run, 5K Walk, and children's race will begin at 9 am. All
proceeds will benefit HWB. Thank you to our sponsors: Bullock Roofing, The Allen Company,
and Kerry Ford. Send in your race registration form today! . See the race route.
Story Time
Story Time is held in the Glendale Community Library at HWB on the third
Saturday of every month at 10:30 AM. See more on the Glendale Community Library.
Shakespeare in the Park
Each summer, HWB and the Village of Glendale continue a Glendale tradition of Shakespeare
in the Park, the public is invited to come watch an outdoor presentation performed by the
renowned Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. Last year's offering was "Romeo and Juliet." On
the lawn beside the HWB building, bring a blanket or lawn chairs, and a picnic if you wish, and
come enjoy what is becoming one of Glendale's favorite annual summer events. Consider
placing a carry out order from one of Glendale's tasty restaurants: The Cock and Bull, The Iron
Horse, The Grand Finale, or The Friendly Stop. The 2010 date for Shakespeare in the Park
is July 24 at 7 pm, with "A Midsummer's Night Dream."
Haunted Village Halloween Party
HWB and the Cub Scouts will once again sponsor the Glendale Halloween Party with costume
contests, games, the haunted maze, music and more. October 30, 2010. Family friendly event!
Held at the Town Hall at 80 E. Sharon Rd.
Swap and Shop
On March 27 8:30-1:00, buyers and sellers got together for children's clothing, toys,
baby/child gear and maternity clothes. Reduce, reuse, and recycle! More information.
Swap and Shop will also be held in October 2010.
Holiday Home Tour & Craft Fair
Tour some of Glendale's finest homes, all decked out for the holidays, on the Holiday Home
Tour & Craft Fair. The next Home Tour will be held in December 2010.
