Glendale Community Book Sale -- August 24, 2024 

The Glendale Community Library yard sale, book sale and craft fair will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, 9-5.

All proceeds help finance the Library programs including guest speakers, children's Story Time, buying best selling books, reading incentive programs and more.

Love Songs - A Concert to benefit a Village Christmas - Saturday September 7, 2024

Come out and enjoy ANOTHER free concert on the lawn featuring the voice behind Piccolo's Favorite Face - KYLE!!!

Kyle and his singing partner Julia will sing a variety of love songs throughout the ages - sure to please listeners of all ages!! 

Kyle's voice will serenade you up through the stars and back again.  If you had the pleasure of attending last year you KNOW what I mean!  

While there you can purchase a picnic dinner of Fried Chicken & Sides for $21 along with Beer/Wine/Soft Drinks.

All proceeds raised during this concert will benefit "A Village Christmas" - This is a widely popular Glendale event which is free for all to attend with the exception of food and drinks.   A Village Christmas is a huge undertaking and the heaters & tents are a big part of us being able to enjoy the event.   

​Please come out to this concert, buy a dinner an consider donating some extra money towards a Village Christmas!!!

​BARKTOBERFEST -- Saturday, October 5, 2024

Glendale Barktoberfest in 2023 was a huge success! This event included a fun and learning-filled day promoting the Village of Glendale's doggie residents and their owners. No dog, no problem - there is plenty to do without a dog! 

Bring a Chair with you and sit down to listen to Sonny Moorman sing the dog gone blues!!!   

We will have new returning Vendors!  We have shopping for you & your canine friends; you can  even do some Christmas shopping 

There will be new games with fabulous prizes -- and some of the favorite games will also return!  

SO, why don't you come down and play with us this year on Saturday, October 5.

A VILLAGE CHRISTMAS -- SATURDAY, December 14, 2024

This fantastic event is a Village favorite. A Village Christmas is free; if you'd like to make a donation specifically towards this event, please contact HWB or Sherri Kohnle.

2023 was a magical celebration with lots of laughter and joy. For the kids, there was a live magician show, horse and buggy rides, Ms. Claus' story reading, Santa and more! The grown ups enjoyed bourbon, beer and wine with the one and only Lady Joya Band on stage!

We'll see you on December 14th!
