SUMMER CONCERT SERIES - Saturdays, June & July!

Our free summer concerts are held at 6 p.m. every Saturday of June and July at the Peter J. Gruber Pavilion. We invite you to join us for these relaxing, family-friendly evenings. Concessions are available and also, guests are welcome to bring their own food, beverages, picnic gear and pets (if leashed). If inclement weather is expected, the concert will be held in the Scout House.
Our 2022 line up included Tom The Torpedoes, Dangerous Jim and The Slims, Not Your Dad's Jazz, The Zeptones, Ugly Truck, The Lady Joya Band, Danger Monkey, Post Last Note, Yesterday Once More and Sonny Moorman. Our 2022 generous sponsors included Jake Sweeney, Duke Energy, Bethany School, Frame USA, KG Creative, Glendale Real Estate Agents, Don and Mary Lofty as well as Timm and Karen Smith.

GLENDALE COMMUNITY LIBRARY YARD SALE - Look for our 2023 date!

The Glendale Community Library Yard Sale is typically held in July. However, for the past 2 years, the library has held a book sale in September and hosted collaborative craft fair! It was on the same day as the Glendale Street Fair. Folk shopped the book sale, perused and shopped the vendors and then, visited Street Fair!
All proceeds help finance the Library programs including guest speakers, children’s StoryTime, buying best selling books, reading incentive programs and more.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK - watch for our 2023 date!

Shakespeare in the Park returned to Glendale on Friday, August 12th, 2022 for more fun! This year's performance was Twelfth Night. This romantic comedy to sure to delight! It is held courtesy of the Village of Glendale and the Glendale Community Library of the Harry Whiting Brown Community Center.
We hope to have this event again in 2023! Stay tuned for details!
BARKTOBERFEST - Held in October - Saturday, October 7th

The fourth annual Glendale Barktoberfest in 2022 was a huge success! This event included a fun and learning-filled day promoting the Village Of Glendale's doggie residents and their owners. Dog lovers inside and outside the Community attended.
We'll be back in 2023 on October 7th!

HAUNTED VILLAGE HALLOWEEN PARTY - Saturday, October 21st

This free family friendly event has a spook house, games, prizes, a costume contest and more! It is brought to you by Harry Whiting Brown Community Center as well as Pack 60 & Troop 417 of the Glendale Scouts.
All the kids, big and small, had a blast in 2022 and are looking forward to our 2023 party!
GLENDALE HOLIDAY HOME TOUR - saturday, December 2nd!

The Glendale Holiday Home Tour is our biennial fundraiser.
The last event was held on Dec 1, 2018. (We skipped a few years due to the pandemic.) This highly anticipated event featured six beautiful homes plus the Christ Church Glendale & the Glendale Community Library in all their holiday glory!
We will see you in December of 2023.
A VILLAGE CHRISTMAS - A Holiday favorite! Saturday, December 9th

This fantastic event, a Village favorite, is scheduled annually in December. This event is free; if you'd like to make a donation specifically towards this event, please contact us or Sherri Kohnle.
2023 was a magical celebration with lots of laughter and joy. For the kids, there was a live magician show, horse and buggy rides, Ms. Claus' story reading, Santa and more! The the grown ups will enjoyed bourbon, beer and wine with the one and only Lady Joya Band on stage!

Wine & Paint - Watch For Our Next Date!

Join us for a fun night of painting and wine! We’ll provide all the supplies and instructions you need to create a painting with your own personal style. Grab your bottle of wine, bring your friends and meet new ones in this fun, friendly environment.
